第４世代iPodのバッテリーを交換しました。
純正の650mAhより少しだけ容量の大きな750mAhです。
実はiPodを購入時にバッテリー交換するより安価だ、と言われて
アップルケアに入って、補償期限ギリギリにアップルに送ったのだけれど、
「弊社が定めた交換規定にバッテリ消耗が達していないので交換不可です」と
送り返された苦い経験アリ。
「いやいや、販売時には店員がアップルケアにはバッテリ交換１回分が含まれていると
　説明したから有償アップルケアを購入したのに！」と反論するも、
まったく交渉の余地無し状態。
（それ以来、アップルの有償保証には絶対に入らないと誓う）

その後、iPod touch→iPhone 3GSと買い替え、使っていなかった第４世代iPodでしたが、
iPhone（16GB）では納まりきらない曲を入れてセカンドDAPとして復活されることに。
やっぱiPodといえば「このカタチ」が好きなんです。思い入れ深い。

・・・内蔵アンプの質なのかDACの質の違いなのか、
iPhone 3GSよりiPodの方が良い音に感じるなぁ。(；´Д｀)
（第４世代iPodは割と評価の高いWolfson社製のDACチップWM8975を使ってるものの、
　音質があまり良く無いというのが定評だったのですが）
いっそのことiMod化をして
ヘッドフォンアップのHA-1でも買って、ロスレス専用機にするってのもアリだな。
